I have been feeling as though I would develop a heart disease . I am very feared of that. While searching on the net, I came across hypochondria. Am I developing hypochondria and will I actually develop a heart disease?
have you any symptoms?
if you have any symptoms then consult your doctor for some minor investigations and cardiovascular system examination.
if all come negative then you may have some other problem.
are you visiting hospital many times though your doctor tells all thing is normal?
then you can consult a psychiatrist about it.

Hi. I think I m a hypochondriac but I m not sure because I m not scared of having a particular disease. But I am preoccupied with my body , as in I always freak out that my heart is going to stop, or I can t breathe, or something is wrong with my brain, or I can t swallow, or anything like that. It started around a year ago when I almost choked and I became very afraid of swallowing for fear of choking again. What do I do?

Curious as to what this condition might be. For the past four years. Off again and on again I ve felt like something was just not right with me health wise. Symptoms are vague but always have some mild feeling of fatigue associated with them. Accompanying them is diarrhea, occasionally constipation with a pale yellow stool, along with a lot of gas. There's been no other weight loss or gain here or other symptoms. It come and goes. The feeling of it is frightening as I am a hypochondriac and scared of getting cancer. But I need to find an answer to this
Good Morning from LA! My sister continues to struggle in spite of lots of reassurance that her taking Zolpidem 3 nights in a row has not caused her any brain damage . She has already, through me, been reassured by Web MD that this is the case....
I HAVE BEEN SUFFERING FROM FIBROMYALGIA FOR A VERY LONG TIME. TEN YEARS AGO I TESTED POSITIVE FOR MS AFTER LOSING VISION IN ONE EYE FOR THREE DAYS AND RECENTLY I WAS CALLED TO MY DOCTORS OFFICE AND I WAS TOLD MY BLOOD TESTED POSITIVE FOR CONNECTIVE TISSUE DISORDER. I STOPPED TAKING ALL MEDICATIONS BECAUSE NOTHING SEEMED TO GIVE ME ANY RELIEF FROM THE VARYING TYPES OF PAIN I EXPERIENCE. I WAS TOLD DURING THE EARLY YEARS AFTER MY FIBROMYALGIA DIAGNOSIS THAT I WAS A HYPOCHONDRIAC AND NOW I DONTKNOW WHAT TO THINK. I CANT FAKE BLOOD TESTS. WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE IS MY DIAGNOSIS. I WOULD JUST LIKE TO FEEL SOME HOPE.

I'm a 22 year old female, to say I'm a bit of a hypochondriac/worry wart woud be an understatement..I have a friend who's just 24 yrs old who passed away two nights ago due to an aneurysm. I'm not worrying and it's causing me so much anxiety I'm losing sleep. I've been suffering from chronic headaches for 2 years, and I had an MRI about 4-6 months ago and it came back normal. My question is; how long does it take an aneurysm to form? I know I'm over analyzing and thinking way too much into it. But I'm losing sleep over it, and I'm really concerned.
