What Are The Symptoms Of Having Borderline Personality Disorder?

Hello I m an adult male suffering from severe ADHD and I ve been conversing with my longtime friend of 9 years for quite some time now, he is currently going through medschool and is studying to be a psychologist. He s informed me that he thinks I might be suffering from Borderline Personality Disorder and Impulsivity as well as Attachment Disorder. Looking at the various criteria for both of them, I think there might be a good chance I actually do suffer from these. I d like to know what the best way of confirming I m indeed suffering from these conditions would be without visiting a doctor in person.I m currently unable to do so as I m unemployed and have no reliable means of transportation for the time being.

Personality disorders, including borderline personality disorder, are diagnosed based on a:
-Detailed interview with your doctor or mental health provider
-Psychological evaluation that may include completing questionnaires
-Medical history and exam
-Review of your signs and symptoms
Some signs of BPD may include: An intense fear of abandonment, A pattern of unstable intense relationships, Rapid changes in self-identity and self-image, Periods of stress-related paranoia and loss of contact with reality, Impulsive and risky behavior, Suicidal threats or behavior or self-injury just to name a few.
I will suggest you see the Doctor when able for evaluation.You may as well see your friend the medical student for evaluation as his knowledge on BPD may be helpful.
