What Are The Symptoms Of Genital Herpes?

There is a rumor going around that a guy got an STD (that won't go away) from a girl I was sexually active with. I used a condom and this was 2 months ago. I don't have any blisters, rash, sores or any other type of side effects. Is there a chance I may have genital herpes? When do initial breakouts occur for genital herpes. I plan on getting tested but I just want to put my mind at ease.

I understand your concern and will give a resolution over it.
If I am your doctor I advice you that Herpes Simplex Virus-2 causative agent for the genital herpes has incubation period of 3-4 weeks. It wont occur beyond this period. So there is nil chance of getting herpes to you after 2 month period. In my opinion there is no need to go for any testing since you do not have any blisters, rash, sores etc.
