Exact cause of
endometriosis is not known. There are environmental factor (exposure to nickle), genetic factor,
retrograde ejaculation, vasculogenesis, increased expression of
nerve fiber and autoimmune process associated with increased risk of endometriosis.

Painful, heavy, or
irregular periods, Pain and spotting during or after sex
Infertility, Painful bowel movements and Fatigue.
Diagnosis should be made by the USG scan, laproscopy examination and Histopathological of tissue help in confirmation of disease.
After confirmation of endometriosis, treatment should be start as it cause infertility problem.
You have to consult the gynecologist for better treatment.
1. Hormonal therapy:Progestrone. birth control pill and danazole
and NSAIDS for pain relief
2. Surgery: if not responds to drug and infertility will be there.
Excision of endometrium and adhesion: preservation of uterus and ovary. depend upon the stage and fertility
