What Are The Symptoms Of Congestive Heart Failure?

My wife has had open heart surgery for replacement of a mitral valve and repair a hole in her heart. She still has a 25% Injection Fraction. She has no kidneys, in dialysis, and is in cardiac rehab. She has no spleen and half a pancreas. She can only have 32 ounces of fluid per day, so she eats ice to control her fluid intake. She has swollen legs that look broken out and is now showing some blood in her stool. Can the ice contribute to the bleeding? From what I can tell, symtoms may be congestive heart failure ,but not sure. She has dialysis tomorrow, but I am concerned. BP looks normal, no fever, no coughing, no respiratory, or any other symtoms she had from before when diagnosed with congestive heart failure.

Hi, sorry for the situation, symptoms of heart failure are severity-dependent, and have tendency to grow if it is´nt treated, and it varies depending of left side (aortic and mitral valves) or right side (pulmonary and tricuspid valves) acord the replacemente of mitral valve so symptoms of congestive left side valve are mainly pulmonar, asthma like symtoms (cough, air starvation, whistle) wiht nocturnal predominance, that improves when sitting and worses when lying or with exercise, when you use an estethoscope can hear something called cracking estertor, when it congestion worses could causes a right side failure too, with swell in ankles jugular growth and abdominal congestion. i don´t think that ice could causes an bleeding, unlike it has an antibleeding propierty for vasospasm. I hope I made myself clear because heart failure is very complex.
