What Are The Symptoms Of Celic Blockage?

Can you give me some specifics regarding blockage of the celiac artery? I have a history of abdominal pain though to my back, numerous attacks, some ER visits and hospital stays, recently 8 days in the hospital. Had CT chest scan, CT abdominal scan, x-rays, small bowel follow through, MRCP, MRA, numerous blood tests, EGD. EGD showed the gastritis that I've been battling for 2 years. Other than that, only an ovarian cyst was found. Would ANY of the above tests have shown a celiac blockage? I'm being told by someone with a similar history who was finally diagnosed with a celiac blockage that I need a specific MRI abdominal angiogram or ultrasound.

Hello, Celiac blockage usually presents with abdominal pain after meals. It can be diagnosed by a CT Angiography or MR Angiography. CTA would be better but if there was suspicion of the same it would have been picked up on the CT scan of the abdomen. Therefore, I dont think you should be worried about Celiac blockage. If you are very worried about it, then a CT Angiography would be the investigation of choice and they should be looking for SMA blockage more importantly than Celiac blockages. SMA is a more important contributor to the intestinal circulation than Celiac artery,
