What Are The Symptoms Of Appendicitis?

I have a sight ache (only if pressed) in my lower right abdomen with mild constipation (more like irregular bowel movements.) I have no fever, nausea or pain if I move around or jump even. Could it be appendicitis still? Also I was doing some exercise and physical labor the other day; so could that mean a pulled muscle?

Hi.
The symptoms of appendicitis are : Pain starts at the umbilical region and then shift to the right iliac fossa; there may be nausea and vomiting, fever, pain on local pressure, constipation or loose motions.
The symptoms may be slight is the attack of inflammation is mild. IF there is obstruction in the appendix by fecolith or thread worms the pain may progress, there can be a fever with chill, impossible take tolerated anything orally,.

Ultrasonography of the abdomen and confirmation by CT scan can give a definite diagnosis when the clinical symptoms and signs are taken together into consideration.

In your case there is more chance that this may be a condition called typhlitis or colitis of the cecal part of large bowel.
This can be pulled muscle too.

Get confirmation by a clinical examination by a Surgeon and investigations. IF confirmed to be appendicitis, it is better to go for surgery, other wise a course of an antibiotic, metronidazole and probiotics will help to get a cure.
