Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
How can you know if you are having Kidney Infections of Bladder or is there a difference and how to know if it has become chronic or some sort of stones? Thank You! I have Insurance that includes me to us web m.d as a part of my service! I have Anthem Blue Cross!
Kidney infection can cause your symptoms like colicky pain, fever, chills, and rigors, abdominal discomfort etcetera. If you have insurance get an ultrasound abdomen done to rule out any anomaly is there in the abdomen if any of these above symptoms persist. If there is urinary tract infection you might get burning micturition, frequency, urgency, dribbling, etcetera all will be ruled out by an ultrasound scan. If no symptoms persist it's better not to worry much and take care of your health rather than unnecessary testing for simply having insurance.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Archana
