What Are The Symptoms Of Bursitis?

For the past 3 weeks I have had excrutiating pain in the left hip/inner thigh. I am unable to walk without a cane & not very far with it without sharp unbearable pain. I went to ER, did X-rays & said Bursitis of the hip. Saw Ortho & scheduled for MRI. He saw no OA. What can I expect?

Hello,

As due to bursitis there will be pain leading to weakness of the muscles of the hip. Taking anti inflammatory medications prescribed under the orthopedist should be helpful to reduce the pain and inflammation. Doing hot water fermentation and simple hip range of motion exercises should help achieve the muscle property to be maintained and get maximum output. Post the pain comes down and after the low-intensity exercise for 2-3 weeks strengthening exercises will be advised to restore the hip joint complete motion.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
