What Are The Symptoms Of Brown-Seguard Syndrome?
The Brown-Seguard syndrome is due to an injury on one side of the spinal cord. It is characterized by paralysis below the injury and on the same side as the injury, and by loss of sensation of temperature and pain on the opposite side. How would you explain these symptoms?

The motor pathways are uncrossed or have crossed above the level of the injury, so, the paralysis is on one side.
The sensation modalities cross two levels above entry-level, so, sensitive changes are located opposite.
