What Are The Symptoms And Treatment For GERD?

HI, i have trouble swallowing and eating, and drinking, i just came back from a small flu and i puked about 4 times, but i dont think that only 4 vomits screwed up my esophagus, im 16 years old and ive been researching and i found something thats named GERD it looks really intense and im scared theres a sergery and i dont wanna die you know :( but if you tell me that its 100% ill be fine, please help me docs im scared

Some advice that I can give to you is:

-A burning sensation in your chest (heartburn), usually after eating, which might be worse at night.
-Chest pain.
-Difficulty swallowing.
-Regurgitation of food or sour liquid.
-Sensation of a lump in your throat.

Treatment consists in:

-Antacid medication
-Lifestyle changes
