What Are The Symptoms And Signs Of Menopause?

I have a terrible headache, queasy and vomiting for the last 5 days. If I lay still in bed the nausea goes way some what but I still have the headache. I think I feel better and get out of bed in just a few minutes I am fighting not to vomit. I am 43 years old and recently found out that I am in full menopause I have no estrogen so there s zero chance that I m pregnant. I went to the doctors in February and was put on progesterone and estrogen and all it did was make me super tired and gain weight so I stopped taking it about a month and a half ago. An occasional hot flash isn t as bad as sleeping 16 hours a day and still being tired And starving 24/7. I don t think this is from the hormones. I was feeling so much better . I feel like I am falling apart. If you have any guess I would appreciate it .

Hello,
Though feeling tired, difficulty in sleeping and weight gain can be attributed to menopause and the associated hormone imbalance, vomiting is usually not a feature. Hence, I would ask you to see a physician for further support. It can be a systemic upset, an undiagnosed hypertension as well and high unopposed hormone action, which seems less likely owing to your history. Please see if dietary changes help to ease out the nausea; avoid oily and fatty foods. You can also use anti-emetics. Try breathing exercises, regular exercises and manage weight. Hope this helps.
