What Are The Survival Rate After Double Bypass And Valve Replacement With Kidney Condition?

My 88 year old father had a double bypass and valve replacement two 5 days ago. Since then is memory is foggy anb hand swelling. The doctor said before the surgery that his heart was very strong but his kidney was functioning at level 3. What are the survival rate for a man in my father s condition?

Hello, for all the above mentioned procedure with kidney problem, the 5 year mortality is more than 70%, however considering his age it would be 2-3 years, depending on his general health presently Co morbidity like diabetes, hypertension, his care and adherence with medication.
It would be be generalised to predict something, as in medicine exception s are common.
