What Are The Survival Chances Of Life After Being Diagnoised With Small Cell Cancer ?
Son is facing small cell cancer, the test show that it is spread to the brain , liver , lungs and bones. He is doing chemo and the radiation in the brain. Just started yesterday Feb 23,2011. What are the chances he can survive this ? He is 51 yrs. Male, was diagonised with some kind of heart problem in early 2010. Of course smoking.

For heart disease as well as cancer first of all he should stop smoking. As cancer is wide spread prognosis appear very guarded. Consult some good medical oncologist.
