Hi,I am Neethu Vipin (Dietitian & Nutritionist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I'm 16 and around 15 stone and my height is approximately 5ft 11, I don't exercise much except from P.E lessons in school I don't do much other than that because I don't generally enjoy sport enough to go out and do it out of school, and I calculated that today I only ate roughly 681 calories, I don't like a lot of foods, so I'm quite picky and I don't have many proper meals I eat..
So Basically my question is what are my first steps to lose weight? What do I need to do in order for this to happen? How many calories should I be eating a day if I don't exercise much?

Hello, Thanks for your query. Choose fat-free or low-fat (1%) milk and cheese. Eat fruits and vegetables with your meals. Drink water or other calorie-free drinks instead of regular soda. Eat lean cuts of meat and fish.Pregnant and nursing mothers: Talk to your health care provider to find out the types of fish you can eat that are lower in mercury. Bake, broil, or grill foods instead of frying. Cook beans and rice without lard or bacon. Use fat-free or low-fat dressing on your salad. Limit your portion size. Say "Yes" to Physical Activity. I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care
