Hi,

Pimple like lesions which are severely itchy may not be related to sexually transmitted disease. However, blood tests may be done to rule out various STD including HIV. I feel that your grandson may be having skin disease related to allergy. So, consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment.

Hope this helps.
