What Are The Smelly Pus Filled Bumps In The Area Between Breasts?

Hi, i ve been getting these bumps in between my breast & they sort of smells too, kind of like cheese. This have been going on for over a year 1/2 now. These bumps are sometimes small then as days go by they turn bigger & when they pop, pus comes out of it. Is this bad? Should i be scared? & is it an infection or something? What should i do?

Hello,

Your symptoms are suggestive of Folliculitis. Keep the area clean and dry. Apply mupirocin ointment when the lesions break out. Since it is recurrent, oral antibiotics may also be considered. So please follow up with your primary provider for further management.
