What Are The Signs And Symptoms Of Cervical Lymphadenopathy?

Hi sir my wife had thyroidetis she had 8 months back she finish he course after that again she saw slight blood in saliva so Dr. Again did FNAC test in that he said it s not thyroid it s cervical lymphadenopathy so u have to go for operation. It s not cure ably in medicines or she has to go for surgery kindly guide us thank u very much sir.

Hi,

Lymphedenopathy means enlargement of lymph glands. It has many causes like infection, blood diseases and uncommonly cancers.

Many times the cause can be found on blood tests and need not operate.

But if for a long time, then it needs an operation in which the gland is removed and tested in the laboratory to see what can be the cause which confirms the diagnosis.

So it's better to remove it if it's for more then 2 weeks.
