What Are The Signs And Symptoms Of Diabetes?
is there a possibility that i have a diabetis because i saw a lot of ants in my used panty. actually all my used panty had ants. i'm worried. we have a history of diabetis. my father has a DM TYPE 2 and also my AUNTIE. my Sister had acquired Gestational diabetis. I hope you can answer my queries. Thank you.

Dear madam i can understand your concern.
in my opinion i can see that there is strong family history of diabetes.
It's not fair to diagnosis diabetes based on ants since diabetes is a metabolic disease doing blood test is very important.
There is some test called Glucose tolerance testing
This test called GTT will help you detect wheather you are diabetic or prediabetic
symptoms of diabetes
Excess urination
excess weight loss
excess thirst.
i suggest you to do testing
for this testing kindly go to lab in fasting state and he will give you 75 gms of glucose and take your blood sample once an hour and get back to me once report is ready

I understand your concerns.There are possibilities of you getting diabetes as you are having a family history of diabetes.
Just merely by the presence of ants you cant be diagnosed as diabetic.I would suggest you to do following investigations:
1.oral GTT
2.Fasting blood sugar
3.Post prandial sugar
4. HbA1c
After doing all these tests only,if these teats turns out to be positive,your diabetic status will be confirmed.
