What Are The Side Effects Of Xolair?

What are the allergic componants of Xolair? I have quite an allergic Hx and have had four serious systemic responses, one of whic put me in hospital for days and under allergist Tx for months. This drug was recommended, with Tx to start tomorrow and what I can find online leaves me to questionthe risk.

I would directly answer your question by informing you that the drug Xolair,
also called as omalizumab, is not recommended for people who have a
history of serious allergic reactions requiring hospitalization. Xolaire can be
given for allergies, however a person can get allergic reactions to it, IF they have a history of hypersensitivity. Therefore, I would say that Xolair is not
recommended for you.

Please speak to a Doctor about your past history and inform him or her about your hospitalization. I am sure that if a detailed complete history
is provided, your doctor will definitely prescribe you another medication.
