Mecofol-A is a combination of Methylcobalamine (vitamin-B12) and Alphalipoic acid and it should not cause constipation.The common causes of constipation are fatty oily food which are deficient in fibers;less intake of water;which can be corrected by replacing and drinking enough water and having diet rich in fibers like green leafy vegetables;fruits etc.
