What Are The Side Effects Of Taking Loestrine?

I am trying to conceive after getting off losetrine 24. My luteal phase of my cycle is 9 days long, which I believe might be preventing me from getting pregnant. Is this something that the Loestrine affected and might my luteal phase regulate more after time off the pill? I have been off the pill for 3 months. I am 26 and pretty healthy.

Hi, I have gone through your question. Loestrin 24 is a contraceptive pills which inhibits ovulation when taken regularly as a contraceptive. But it has no effect on the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle once you are off the drug, especially for last 3 cycles.
There are other hormonal disturbances like luteal phase defect which lead to short luteal phase.
Moreover, there may be other causes for not conceiving.
I would suggest you and your partner to consult an infertility specialist to get properly examined, investigated and treated accordingly.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
