Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain pimples or acne are treated with a combination of antibiotics and ant acne medications, therefore Azithromycin is appropriate to be advised for acne..
As you have PCOD it is one of the most common cause for hormonal imbalances and will lead to acne..
It will help in resolving acne faster and has to be taken once a day for the advised period of time..
In case if it causes any side effects you should stop taking it immediately and consult your treating Dermatologist so that it can change the drug.
In case if the pimple has ruptured, it is not a side effect of medicine and it will gradually heal..
You should also apply a combination of benzoyl peroxide and Clindamycin over the pimples to resolve them soon..
Do cool compresses over the pimples..
Avoid oily food and take more of green leafy vegetables and fruits..
Drink plenty of water and limit sun exposure..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
