What Are The Side Effects Of Tablet Lezra Letrozole?

i got married 3 years before. I gave birth to baby girl after 11 months of marriage. My husband is now living in another city due to job for 1 month and the next 1 month lived at home. Now I am not getting pregnant from last 1 year, I want to get pregnant now but not getting it. I consult my doctor she advice me for lezra letrozole. Is there any side effect of this tablet? Should I use it for pregnancy?

The aim of your treatment is to induce ovulation to increase the chances of conception...
Letrazole is primarily used for breast cancer...it is used off label for ovulation induction by fertility doctors...i believe it is banned in India for ovulation induction because it causes birth defect but it is used off label for ovulation induction in other countries like US and UK etc...some studies show that it has lesser chance of side effect that clomiphene(other drug used for ovulation induction).
Since it is a bit controversial, I suggest you stick on to the advice of your local doctor...
