ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello,
I understand your concern..If you have a nasal block( may be due to deviated septum or polyps etc) you will be having a open mouth breathing. This in turn will lead to dry mouth and Infection of throat. plus, if you have sinuses blocked, you will have discharge trickling into the throat and causes a sensation of phlegm being stuck at throat. If you were my patient, I would do a nasal endoscopy and a CT scan of the sinuses and proceed further. You can use decongestant drops like otrivin, for a short relief. I suggest you to have a consultation with an ENT surgeon at the earliest.Regards
