General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* Occasional intake of omeprazole has no side effects, though on a long-term basis there may be

- stomach unresponsiveness to the same molecule
- interaction with the absorption of other drugs if taken simultaneously
- psychologic dependency. I would like to assist further at any time.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
