Hi doctor. I had my twin boy babies 5 months back and i am BF and Formula feeding. As i have a family function and my next expected period falls on that same date, kindly let me whether i can take Tab regestrone 5mg twice a day 3 days before my expected period. And let me know whether taking that tab affect my feeding or affect my future menstrual cycle. I have a regular 28 days cycle. Kindly list what are the side effects of that Tab. Thank you....
Thanks for choosing healthcare magic. the tablet regesterone is nor ethisterone and is not know to have significant side effects during breast feeding. you can take the medication. as these are hormonal pills some times they may cause alteration in your next menstrual cycle. like early or delayed. otherwise there are no long term effects. write back if you have any queries. Thanks. Dr Bhagyashree.
