What Are The Side Effects Of Radiation Treatment After A Colon Surgery?

I had colon surgery and I will be starting radiation treatment soon. What are the side affects and will i the treatment impare my ability to continue an active sex life with my wife, who by the way had breast cancer this year. She is done with her chemo and is awaiting reconstructive surgery.

Some of the side effects are:
skin problems.
heartburn.
hoarseness if the voice box is involved.
nausea and vomiting if the treatment area is close to the stomach.
