) can cause kidney
damage in the long run. It needs to be taken only as and when the pain becomes difficult to tolerate. Further, reducing weight, eating plenty of calcium, avoiding squatting, and hot fomentation will also help. She can also use a diclofenac spray for local application.
Further, given her age, I would suggest the risk benefit ratio of the knee replacement
surgery with your physician. Please take a second opinion
on the matter as well.
