What Are The Side Effects Of Prenatal Pills?

Been on birth control for 3weeks and missed maybe 4 days and started spotting so I took 2pills one day to try and stop the spotting later that day I had unprotected sex while I was still spotting. The next day Im still spotting and its a little heavier but the big deal breaker is I ve also been taking prenatal pills as well..should I be looking for symptoms soon or is there nothing to be worried about???

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Once there is a break in taking the pills then bleeding will occur. The use of the 2 pills at the same time will help reduce the chance of conception but your conceptive cover would still not be up to the maximum.

If you restart taking the pills consistently then the bleeding should stop.

It is unlikely that you would have conceived but if you want to confirm this you would need to temporarily discontinue the pill and wait till 11 to 14 days after possible conception before doing a pregnancy test.

I hope this helps
