What Are The Side Effects Of Pan 40?

I am taking pan 40 for the last 6 years ,one tab in the morning empty stomack.. Is is advisable to continue? I hav tried not to take day or two, but I am getting chest burning without that. again after start taking I am normal. Is there is side effect ,if I continue. Or else any other medicinine which consider to less harm,can be taken?

You are using pan 40 i.e. pantoprazole , a proton pump inhibitors provide relief in the patient of hyper acidity or gastritis .
Whenever you don't take symptoms reappear , it means you are a patient of hyper acidity or gastritis or Hiatus hernia or peptic ulcer.
Its prolong use may cause liver function abnormality and weakness beside other side common side effects.
1 These measures may help you.Try raising the head of your bed about 4 inches with blocks. It also might help to avoid eating or drinking for 2 -3 hours before you lie down. To help control stomach acid one should not drink alcohol or drinks with caffeine in them or eat chocolates or spicy or greasy foods.
2 Over eating , tension and anxiety are another reason which causes hyper acidity so avoid .
When such patient visit with this symptom I advise to take REBAMIPIDE 100 mg 2-2-2 ( two tablets three times in day) for 3-6 months ( complete treatment ).
