Hello! Orofer XT is used in anemia due to lack of iron and folic acid, in poor diet, in malabsorption, in pregnancy etc. It has two active ingredients iron and folic acid. The side effects are a summary of these two drugs side effects, they don t have any interaction found. The mos common side effects are nausea, constipation, bitter taste in the mouth, dark stools, urine discoloration, allergy, vomiting, abdominal pain especially in the upper part, bloating . It should not be used in peptic ulcer and colitis because of the gastrointestinal irritation and the increased risk of hemarrhage. The pains you re experincing are probably a side effect of the drug.
