What Are The Side Effects Of Multiload IUD?

I had a Multiload IUD insetred 1 year ago and have had nothing but trouble since. Constant Thrush, and irreguar spotting and very heavy periods every two weeks. I am SICK OF IT!! Is it possible that it just doesnt agree with me? My Gyne told me to wait to let it settle but I just wan to remove it!

If you are having that much trouble with it, I agree- you should get it removed and try some other method of birth control. Sometimes a woman can just not tolerate an IUD. It can cause all sorts of problems like heavy long lasting periods and pain etc. If it hasn't settled for a year, then I doubt that it will. Get it taken out and try something else. They are also much easier to remove than putting them in. Hope this helps.
