As per your complain you used Melacare skin cream which contains steroid and darkening and dark spots over the skin are due to side effects of withdrawal of steroid based cream and this is the cause for dark spots.. Nothing to worry, you can just relax and gradually the dark spots will lighten.. You can start using kojic acid containing creams as they are safe for long term use as kojic acid is a mushroom extract.. Apply Vitamin E gel over the face every night after washing the face witha gentle facewash.. Use a mild scrub and exfoliate your face twice a week. You can also apply aloevera gel for lubrication.. As the sun exposure can furthur increase the darkness of spots due to photosensitivity so it will be better to avoid sun exposure. If exposed to sun apply a sun screen loion and try to cover the face with a scarf. You can also consult a Dermatologist and get treatments like Microdermabrasion, glycolic acid peels, dermarollers and photofacials done.. Hope this information helps.. Thanks and regards..
