Hi & Welcome.
I have gone through the history and felt sorry to know that your aunt's problem apparently caused by the side effects of Levaquine.

Levaquine (Ofloxacin) is a Fluoroquinolone antibiotic commonly prescribed to treat susceptible bacterial infections.

Generally it is well tolerated, however it can cause abdominal pain, diarrhea, photosensitivity, prolonged QT interval, etc as its common side effects.

It can also cause certain serious side effects especially in children and elderly like tendinitis, tendon rupture, muscle injury (including rupture), increased muscle enzymes, and rhabdomyolysis (increased breakdown of muscle protein).

Your aunt seems to have developed ruptured Achilles tendon for which she needs surgical repair by an orthopedic surgeon.

Hope these answer your queries.
