Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You have not mentioned the condition why doctor has told you to stop breastfeeding, there are only few contraindications to breastfeeding and they are: if mother, is HIV positive, is having untreated tuberculosis, and is on certain medication.

There are some condition in which breastfeeding is only temporarily stopped and those are any infection and lesions on breast like boil, impetigo, or herpes simplex in which mother is advised to use pump to express milk which can be given to baby. So my suggestion is that you should consult your doctor. Breast milk is the best milk and if in any condition you have to give formula temporarily then give it with a spoon and avoid bottle
Relax, your baby will be fine.
God bless.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Breastfeeding is no doubt best for both the baby and mother. But there are certain conditions when breastfeeding cannot be done. Although, these companies are trying to give all the nutrients present in breast milk and according to the need of baby by their product, still there are some disadvantages.
These formula milk does not have the property to boost the immune system of the baby like the breast milk. It should be diluted properly as over dilution will lead to undernutrition and under dilution can cause indigestion. Ideally feeding bottle should not be used as there can be nipple confusion whenever you will start the breastfeeding. Feeding should be done through bowl and spoon. If you are using a bottle then it should be boiled along with nipple to avoid the infection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
