What Are The Side Effects Of Coumadin?

I had my blood taken yesterday, she took it out of my hand. It kind of looked like *what I thought anyways* that some blood leaked underneath the skin. Today that area is almost covering my whole hand, is a deep purple and because I take coumadin was wondering if I should be concerned.

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Deep purple means old blood.
2. Possibly due to subcutaneous seeping of blood.
3. Not to worry. It will get absorbed. Check INR, if not sure about coumadin dose.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
I find this answer helpful
