What are the side effects of chlamydia infection during pregnancy?
I had clamydia when i was pregnant. Both my husband and I were treated with antibiotics. My baby was born fine, now i notice thAt she will be three in april and does not talk much. Her teacher suggests we see a speech therapist. Can this be caused by clamydia?

Hello dear ,I understand your concern.In my opinion chlamydia causes eye infection,pneumonia ,urinary infections etc.But it doesn't effect the speech.Speech of a child mainly occurs when he or she is constantly exposed to talks of the family members.So talk to him or her frequently and also a speech therapist .Also you might need a ENT specialist opinion.
