What Are The Side Effects Of Alcohol?

What are the overall health effects of a person who consumes too much alcohol in a life time? WOW! I am a college student trying to verify things I already know, so much for the source. Thank you for time, Alicia Vaughn YYYY@YYYY

Alcohol consumption could impart harmful effects on the body.
Too much consumption of alcohol can cause the following affect on health:

1. Short term: Slurred speech, Drowsiness, Vomiting , Diarrhea, Stomach upset , Headache, Breathing difficulties, Distorted vision and hearing, Impaired judgment, improper coordination, Blackouts, Unconsciousness and Coma.

2. Long term: Alcohol poisoning, High blood pressure, stroke, and other heart-related diseases, Liver disease like fatty liver and liver cirrhosis, Peripheral neuropathy, Sexual problems, Vitamin B1 deficiency affecting brain in the form of Wernicke–Korsakoff syndrome, Gastritis and ulcers, Pancreatitis, Malnutrition and Cancer of the oral cavity and stomach.
