General & Family Physician 's  Response

Hi & Welcome to HCM.
Meconeuron injection (Methylcobalamin) is an active form of vitamin B12, which is used to treat anemia as well as nerve damage with numbness, tingling, pain in various neurological disorders. It is usually given in the dose of 500 mcg/day 3 times/wk for about 2 months. Then a maintenance dose of 500 mcg 1-3 monthly is required.
Generally Meconeuron injection is well tolerated.
However few side effects like pain or burning sensation at the site of injection, and rash may be seen after administration.

It seems from the history that she is also having deficiency of vitamin D for which she needs vitamin D with calcium supplements.
She should also be encouraged to take milk or other dairy products to provide the deficient vitamin D and calcium and also adequate exposure to sun light for the vitamin D synthesis in her skin.
Hope I could answer your query.
