General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Temodar contains 'temozolomide', which is an anti-cancer chemotherapy drug. It is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with refractory anaplastic astrocytoma.

Most common side effects occurring in patients taking Temodar include: Nausea, vomiting, constipation, headache and fatigue. Less common side effects include: low blood counts, sleep problems (insomnia), hair loss, loss of coordination, loss of movement on one side of the body and skin rash.

Kindly seek medical attention promptly if any of the side effects experienced happens repeatedly or becomes bothersome.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran. S.
