What Are The Side Effects Of Suboxone Tablets?

I'm prescribed subutex but I took suboxone and I go to the doctor Wednesday. I was wondering do the show up the same on a urine drug screen and does naloxone show on drug test. I ran out of my medicine or I wouldn't have taken regular suboxone, now I am worried to death.

Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

I can understand your concern. Subutex is Buprenorphine and Suboxone is Buprenorphine and Naloxone combination drug. Both consists of Buprenorphine which shows up in any drug screen tests. Naloxone is used in Suboxone to prevent misuse of Buprenorphine in addict patients. Common drug screen tests don't detect Naloxone because this is not a controlled substance and this is in-fact used in opioid detoxification. So as per my opinion even if you took Suboxone instead of Subutex, even then there is no need to worry. Continue to take your drugs as per proper prescription.
