what are the side effects of Pravachol (tablets) taken once a day - usual side effect that bothers me is the aching and pain in joints - but are there anymore effects that could effect me? I don't like to take any statin, but my Dr. assured me that this would be o.k. - is it?

PRAVACHOL ( PRAVASTATIN ) i slings to statin group of drugs and the common side effects of this drug are headache,nausea,vomiting,diarrhoea,muscle pain,abnormal liver tests etc.
