What Are The Side Effects Of Omeprazole 20 Mg?

Hello. I had an endoscopy.. they found an ulcer about the size of a quarter.. there were also four polyps found and removed. I was put on Omeprazole 20 mg cpdr. At my follow up with my pcp, I was put on ciprofloxacin 500 mg for a sinus infection. Is it okay to be taking them together as they both say take twice daily. .. also can the omeprazole cause a uti or yeast infection? As now that I have been taking it for 5 days, I itch bad and it burns

Yes they can definitely taken with one another as one of them is antibiotic ( ciprofloxacine ) & one is atacid (omeprazole).
Usually antacid is prescribed with the antibiotic to avoid the acidity caused by the antibiotic.
there is no any interaction between the two drugs and can be taken togeter.
Fpr better effects it is advisable that antacid to be taken 20 mininutes before food & antibiotic after food. same can be foolwe in your case. Take omeprazole before food & ciprofloxacine after food.

Secondly omeprazole is not known to cause UTI rather it will take care of your stomach ulcer so you can continue with as per your doctors opinion.
