Hello,

Long term taking of any drug may lead to side-effects. If benefits outweigh risks then you can take these drugs.

Long term taking of Pantoprazole or Rabiprazole, Omeprazole or lansalrazole may lead to osteoporosis or dementia or repeated stomach infection.

Long term taking of Losarton or Candisarton or Irbisarton etcetera may lead to increased serum creatinine, Hyperkalemia, cough etcetera.

Long term taking of Frusemide or Torsemide or Furosemide or Bumetanide or Ethacrynic acid leads to Hypokalemia, hypocalcemia, hypotension etcetera.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
