What are the side effects of Mucinex?

I have an enlarged prostate & am taking Tamsulosin .04mg daily. I have a head cold with congestion & saw a doctor last week who prescribed Mucinex D, which caused severe urinary retention. I went back to the clinic today & another doctor prescribed just plain Mucinex. Should I be afraid to take this?

Take Tab Montair Fx ( montelukast + fexofenadine ) combination
one tab a day with warm water
along with ur old treatment
