What Are The Side Effects Of Mifepristone Tablet?

Helow doctor. I am 26 year old married and i am now 4 week pregnant. I have taken this tablets of miferstone followed by misoprotol before one year to abort my child. My query is this that i want to take this tablet again to avoid pregnancy is it safe for my future pregnancy plan?

I appreciate your concern for the safety of Mifepristone tablet.
The most common side effects of Mifepristone are:

Vaginal bleeding which can be severe or spotting, cramps, vaginal burning, itching, or discharge
headache, tiredness or anxiety.

Mifepristone and Misoprostol are important components of drug combination used to terminate early pregnancy of less than 7 weeks or so.

Since these medications can cause a number of harmful side effects, hence not safe and they should not be taken with out consulting a gynecologist.
