What Are The Side Effects Of Midazolam Tablet?
I was given Midazolom Jan 28 for a stomach sound scope...5 hrs after I got home I had a grammar seizure...Went back...They couldn t find anything....Have had 5 or 6 more seizures since..I did see a nuerologist that put me on Keppra....There are numerous side effects I have had & still have.I believe it has all been because of the side effects....... Midazolam is a benzodiazapine that is sometimes used before surgery or procedures. Sometimes after withdrawing from that drug you can have a seizure. However it would not explain your continued seizures. Probably you had an underlying seizure disorder and the midazolam just caused the seizure disorder to manifest itself. Midazolam is usually cleared from the body within a few days and should not cause ongoing problems.
