What Are The Side Effects Of Exelon?

My husband has just been given a few samples of Exelon for his poor memory.. We were also given a prescription to buy more when these patches are gone. We want to to know any side effects from this patch...... and , because you wear it for 24 hours, can it get wet in the shower?

Hello,
Common side effects of exelon patches are nausea, vomiting, diarrheas, dizziness etc.
One patch is used exactly for 24 hours and then next patch is used.
There is no problem in taking bath.
You can even go for swimming.
Make sure not to apply the patch at the same spot before 14 days, however area may be same.
Apply the patch at non hairy region where rubbing with clothing is also avoided.
Don't apply the patch where any cream or lotion has been applied.
Use a new patch,if the earlier patch falls off and don't try to secure it with any bandage or dressing.
Thanks
