hi thank you for asking your concern madam and welcome to hcm. injection depo provera need to be taken every three month as a contraception. i suggest you to please visit your doctor and take a follow up card mentioning due dates and follow up record in it. change in mood is one of the common symptoms of depo provera and if you feel any one such episode then you must inform your doctor about this side effect as soon as possible, even it is a self limiting. vaginal discharge is not the established side effect of depo provera so discharge may happen as a side effect of a different symptom. i would suggest you to meet your doctor to have a complete check up for vaginal discharge and contraceptive advice. you may need to change the method of contraception in presence of side effects. i hope i answered your concerns if you feel any more doubt please ask regards dr. abhijit
